Master
Planning
Master Planning
is generally done on a fixed fee basis, based upon the size
and complexity of the project.
Architectural Fees
This fee covers
the traditional architectural work - design development, construction
documents (drawings and specifications) and construction administration
(inspections). The percentage used for calculating
the fixed fee can range from 4% and up, depending upon the size
and complexity of the project.
As a rule,
this fee will include all engineering fees (structural, mechanical,
electrical and civil). It may also include special consultants
(for example, commercial kitchen designers or acoustical consultants),
soils tests, and topographical surveys.
Consulting
Services
Compensation
for these services is on an hourly basis plus reimbursable expenses.
Terms for
payment will be determined based upon the nature of the work
and will be agreed upon prior to provision of services.
As a general rule, travel expenses and an estimated number of
hours must be paid in advance. After work has been completed,
an invoice will be issued for actual hours and expenses with
credit for payments made in advance, and final payment due within
30 days.
All fees are
subject to final written agreement between the Architect and
the client.
My mission is to help churches build
the projects they need to achieve the missions that God has led
them to achieve.
I want to provide my
clients with well-designed, aesthetic, and durable buildings that
are economically feasible; to provide the most trouble-free building
programs possible; and to provide my services at the lowest possible
cost to my clients.
So that my time can
be fully devoted to my mission, I do not seek or solicit projects
other than church or church related projects.
I am totally dependent upon the Lord to provide for my
company from His people.
When you hire my
company, you will be hiring me personally.
Although I employ others to assist me on certain tasks,
I personally provide the majority of the architectural work.
Although my company
is a for-profit corporation, it has become a full-time ministry
that I thoroughly enjoy and feel privileged to do.
I hope that you will allow me to serve as your architect
on your next project.
